This adds the button to the quick access toolbar, meaning that pressing ALT + 5 on my system at least activates the dictation in a fast and intuitive way. Any advice, ideas would be much appreciated. Dictate button is grayed out . Insert punctuation at any time by saying them explicitly. The theory is that if something is on this menu when you press the ALT key then it will be fast-tracked as a shortcut where you can simply press a number to activate the button.
